Which Tesla does the Door Sill Protector Set fit?
The Tessories Door Sill Protector Set fits the Model Y (2022–2024).
Will these door sill protectors fit my Model Y?
Yes. Tessories shaped this set for the Model Y versions listed in the fitment details above. Each piece follows the curves of the sill and lines up cleanly, with no gaps or overhang, so the set sits flush along the door opening and looks like it came from the factory. If you're not sure which version you have, check the fitment details before you order.
What do door sill protectors protect against?
Every time someone gets in or out, shoes, bags and grit rub across the door sills. Over time this leaves scuffs and scratches that make a tidy cabin look tired. These protectors act as a tough scuff plate. They take the daily foot traffic, so the sill trim underneath stays free of scratches and scrapes.
Do they cover more than just the door sills?
Yes. As well as the door sills, the set covers the side carpet/felt base behind the rear seats. This low spot gets kicked and scraped when passengers climb in or gear is loaded, but most sill protector kits leave it bare. Covering it means fewer marks in a place that is hard to keep looking new.
Do I need glue or drilling to fit them?
No. You don't need any adhesive, drilling or changes to the car, so your original trim stays untouched. That means there is no sticky residue to clean off and no holes left behind if you ever take the set out. It's an easy way to protect the sills without changing the car itself.
How well do they hold up, and how do I clean them?
The wear-resistant material stands up to shoes, grit and moisture, day after day. When they get dirty, wipe them with a damp cloth and they're clean again in seconds. This keeps every entry looking sharp with very little effort, even after wet or busy days on the road.
Can door sill protectors help with resale appeal?
They can help. Scuffed sills are an easy place for buyers to spot wear, because everyone sees them when they open the doors. The Tessories set keeps the original sill trim free of scratches underneath, so the cabin looks well cared for when the time comes to sell or trade in your Model Y.
