Which Tesla does the Electric Retractable Sunshade fit?
The Tessories Electric Retractable Sunshade fits the Model Y L (2026–2027). It is tailored to the roof lining, so the shade sits flush and reads as part of the original interior.
Does an electric roof sunshade keep the cabin cooler?
Yes. The Electric Retractable Sunshade blocks harmful UV rays and cuts glare through the roof, which keeps the cabin noticeably cooler. Close it with one button press before a long drive in the sun, then open it again when you want the light back. Nothing needs to be clipped in or stored away.
How do you open and close the Electric Retractable Sunshade?
The Electric Retractable Sunshade opens and closes two ways: one touch of a button, or a simple voice command. There is no manual pulling, folding or unclipping. It sits flush with the roof lining, so the cabin keeps its clean, minimalist look whether the shade is open or closed.
What does the built-in LED light strip do?
The Electric Retractable Sunshade includes an ambient LED light strip that adds a subtle glow to the cabin. The colour is voice-controlled, so you can change it to suit your mood or your interior without touching a switch. It is a soft accent light, not a reading light.
Is an electric sunshade better than a manual roof shade?
An electric shade is quicker and cleaner to live with. A manual shade has to be clipped in, pulled across and then stored somewhere between trips. The Tessories Electric Retractable Sunshade stays in the car, blends with the roof lining and moves with one button press or a voice command.
Is the Electric Retractable Sunshade hard to install?
No. The Electric Retractable Sunshade is quick to install and simple to use day to day. It is built to match the roof lining, so once fitted it looks like part of the original interior rather than an added accessory. Durable, quality components are used throughout for long-term reliability.
