Installation Guide
Which Tesla does the Steering Wheel Cover fit?
The Tessories Steering Wheel Cover fits the Model 3 (2024–2027), Model Y (2025–2027) and Model Y L (2026–2027). The cover is cut for a snug, tailored fit around the full outer rim, so it grips firmly without slipping or bunching under your hands.
What is the Steering Wheel Cover made from?
The Steering Wheel Cover is made from soft microfibre leather with an anti-slip grip surface. Microfibre leather stays cool in summer and warm in winter, so your hands feel comfortable whatever the weather. The surface is sweat and wear resistant, which matters on a part of the car you touch every single trip.
Can a steering wheel cover hide a cracked or peeling Tesla steering wheel?
Yes. The Steering Wheel Cover wraps the full outer rim, so it hides cracks, peeling and sun damage completely and gives the cabin a like-new look. It also stops a sticky or worn rim from touching your hands, which is the part most drivers notice first.
Is a cover better than replacing a worn Tesla steering wheel?
A cover is the faster and cheaper fix. Replacing a steering wheel means removing the airbag assembly and dealing with the safety systems behind it, while the Tessories Steering Wheel Cover slips over the existing rim in minutes and covers the damage in one step. You keep the original wheel, its controls and its airbag exactly as they are.
Is the Steering Wheel Cover worth it for Uber and taxi drivers?
Yes — it was built for long shifts. The Steering Wheel Cover uses sweat and wear resistant microfibre leather with an anti-slip grip, so your steering stays sure and steady through hours of driving and tight corners. Constant handling is what wears a factory rim down fastest, and the cover takes that wear instead. It also keeps the cabin presentable for passengers.
How do you fit the Steering Wheel Cover?
Fitting takes minutes and needs no tools. The Steering Wheel Cover is tailored to the Model Y L, Model Y and Model 3 rim, so it goes on snug with no slipping or bunching and no mess to clean up afterwards. There is no adhesive, no stitching and nothing to remove from the car first.
