Anyone with kids in the back seat knows the anxiety — toys, crumbs, and small objects have a way of finding the worst possible places to disappear into. The Rear Display Air Vent Guard for Tesla Model Y Premium, Model Y L and Model 3 Premium puts an end to that. Protect your HVAC system and keep rear airflow running smoothly with one simple, snap-on solution.
- Blocks debris before it causes damage — prevents small objects from falling into rear vents and disrupting your HVAC system
- Preserves airflow efficiency — breathable construction keeps air circulating freely without restriction
- Built to last — durable ABS plastic withstands daily use and resists wear over time
- Installs in seconds, no tools needed — simply snap the guards into place and you’re done
- Purpose-built fit — designed specifically for Tesla Model Y (2025-2027) , Model Y L (2026-2027) and Model 3 (2024-2027) second-row centre air vents
What are the Rear Display Air Vent Guards and what problem do they solve?
The Rear Display Air Vent Guards are snap-on protective covers designed for the second-row centre air vents of the Tesla Model Y, Model Y L (6-Seater) and Model 3. They block small objects — toys, crumbs, and debris — from falling into the rear HVAC vents. Without protection, trapped objects can restrict airflow and strain your climate control system. These guards eliminate that risk entirely.
Which Tesla models and years are these vent guards compatible with?
These guards are purpose-built for the Tesla Model Y, Model Y L (6 Seat) and Model 3. They are designed specifically for the second-row centre air vents on these refreshed variants. They are not a universal fit — the precise compatibility ensures a secure, rattle-free installation without modification.
How do the Rear Air Vent Guards protect the Tesla HVAC system?
The guards act as a debris barrier over the rear display air vents. When small objects enter an air vent, they can block airflow passages, reduce climate control efficiency, and cause long-term wear on HVAC components. By keeping the vents clear, these guards help maintain consistent airflow and protect internal ventilation components from foreign object damage.
Do the vent guards restrict airflow or affect climate control performance?
No. The guards feature a breathable, open design that allows air to circulate freely through the vents. Ventilation performance is preserved while debris is kept out. You get full rear climate control function without compromise.
What material are the Tesla Model Y / Model 3 vent guards made from?
The guards are constructed from ABS plastic — a durable, impact-resistant thermoplastic commonly used in automotive interior accessories. ABS is lightweight, resistant to daily wear, and maintains its shape and fit over time. It is well-suited for in-cabin use across varying temperatures.
How do you install the Rear Display Air Vent Guards?
Installation is tool-free and takes seconds. Simply align each guard with the second-row centre vent opening and snap it into place. No adhesives, screws, or technical knowledge required. The snap-fit design holds the guard securely in position during normal use.
Are these vent guards a good option for Tesla owners with children?
Yes — they are particularly valuable for families. Children in the back seat frequently drop small toys, food, and other objects near the centre console and rear vents. The guards create a physical barrier that prevents those objects from entering the ventilation system. It is a simple, low-cost way to avoid an expensive HVAC repair caused by a blocked or damaged rear air vent.
